We have daily guided walks and weekly ‘Hauntings and Horrors of Hereford’ walks. The tours last about one and a half hours and are conducted by volunteer members of the Hereford Guild of Guides. The walks start at the Tourist Information Centre opposite the west front of the Cathedral. There is no need to book in advance but you will need to purchase a ticket prior to joining the walk.
Charges - £3 per adult, no charge for accompanied children (under 12).
Daily walks - every day from the 3rd Saturday in May to the end of September starting at 11.00am except on Sundays when the start time is 2.30pm. Additionally at 2.30pm throughout July and August. Tickets from the Tourist Information Centre or, if closed, from the guide.
Hauntings and Horrors walks - on Wednesday evenings from the first Wednesday in July to the last Wednesday in September, starting at 7.15pm. Tickets from the guide.
Booked walks - individually designed and themed walks can also be booked for groups and organisations. Slightly different charges apply.
