Walks take place each day, normally from the 3rd Saturday in May to the end of September. Each walk is led by a volunteer member of the Guild of Guides and is approximately one and a half hours duration. Start time is 11.00am except on Sundays when it is 2.30pm. Additional walks take place at 2.30pm throughout July and August. The walks start at the Tourist Information Centre opposite the west front of the Cathedral. There is no need to book in advance but you will need to purchase a ticket from the TIC prior to joining the walk (or from the guide on Sundays if the TIC is closed) - the charge is £3 per adult, no charge for accompanied children (under 12).
Join us to see Hereford’s interesting and historic buildings and other structures, hear about the history of the city through the ages from Saxon times, its role in the Civil War and its famous people.
