The Guild welcomes bookings from clubs, societies, schools, wheelchair users etc. Walks can be arranged at any time of the year and the starting and finishing points can be planned to suit the convenience of the party. Specially themed walks can also be arranged - e.g. Hereford in the English Civil War, Elgar in Hereford and Nelson in Hereford. A month’s notice is required and we normally allocate one guide per ten people. Charges - £3 per person. For parties of students and schoolchildren the charge is £1 per person and £3 for accompanying adults.
Coach parties can unload near the west front of the cathedral, close to the Tourist Information Centre, where the group can be met. The coach must leave immediately after unloading - for example to the car park at Merton Meadow.
